Playa’s Pita Lebanese Cuisine: Authentic Mediterranean Delights in Playa del Rey

I recently dined at Playa's Pita restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was a true culinary masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and prepared to perfection. The ambiance transported me to the heart of the Middle East with its warm, inviting decor and soothing music. A must-visit for anyone looking to savor Middle Eastern cuisine in a cozy atmosphere!

No reservations or problems getting seated. We were the only ones for dinner. Several people came to pick up their call ahead orders. Very casual , small restaurant. Owner greeted and answered or questions happily. They offer Lebanese wine, beer but we don't drink alcohol, maybe another time to try the wine. The hummus was the best we have had, home made so smooth. We also ordered appetizer of Lebanese pickles. Very tart though, plus the same pickles and radishes(?) Came with our orders. The chopped salad also came with our order, and the vinegarette dressing was VERY good! Each entree came with choice of fries or cabbage salad. The fries were plentiful and crispy good!! I ordered the mixed grill plate. Included filet mignon ,chicken and beef kefta. And fries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Came with a garlic paste dip that was not garlicky at all. Had a smooth easy taste to eat and eat. Everyone in party of 4 enjoyed their meals very much .

Awesome, authentic Lebanese food, great service - overall excellent place. Adding to our list of go to restaurants. Hummus is excellent and authentic, spicy fries were great, all of the kabobs and mains were on point, and the rice was the best. Reminds me of living in the Middle East - this is the first place we’ve found in LA that actually tastes the same. Service was very accommodating. Changed the temperature of the restaurant to make us comfortable, did a special surprise for dessert. Love this place and can’t say enough good things about it.

We headed directly from the airport to this restaurant. We were seated outdoor, and the weather was amazingly magnificent . Service is great, and the food is very delicious, authentic Lebanese and fresh. My kids loved the cheese sambousek and the grape leaves. Highly recommended.

First time here. Waitress was lovely. Beef Shish Ka Bob was grilled fresh, turned out somewhat dry, we prefer juicy medium rare. Took a while to receive our kabob skewers. Baba ghanoosh was tasty, but we asked for more lemon. Nice neighborhood restaurant, stick w. already prepared items, if you're in a rush.

Absolutely THE BEST chicken/beef shawarma I have had. It is absolute HEAVEN for the taste buds. This local neighborhood spot has become a household fave. (Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. Playa's Pita is a true gem.)

The food is a 10/10! Everything is fresh, clean & tastes insanely good! Service is really nice & helpful!
